Rubbish from the beach

We went to the beach for research and ended up spending an hour and a half or so picking up rubbish - from Freyberg Beach to half way along Oriental bay

I sorted and counted everything because I find this interesting. In order of most to least.

Glass: 199

Sea glass (smoothed): 73

• pill packet (4 panadols worth)
• small zip lock bag
• 1 small bit of foam
• 1 bit of dried glue
• 6 bits of balloon

hard plastic: 149 altogether, including

• 3 pieces of plastic spoon
• 1 lollipop stick 
• 6 plastic lids
• 2 small glue lids
• 4 small plastic spheres?
• 1 lego
• 1 bit of bread tag

Cigarettes: 20

• 5 pieces of foil/crumpled metal,
• 1 paperclip

• 1 lump of chewing gum ( and another was stuck to the wall so we left it there)
